カナダの Daniel Snaith が、Caribou と使い分けるダンスフロア名義。2012年の『Jiaolong』から本格的に動き出した。同名のレーベル Jiaolong を自ら運営しCaribou よりも直接的に、フロアに向けた音を作る。名義を分けることで、二つの時間の流れを持っている作家である。

Daphni is the dancefloor alias that Canada's Daniel Snaith keeps separate from Caribou. The project began in earnest with 2012's *Jiaolong*, and he runs a label of the same name, Jiaolong, himself. The music here is aimed more directly at the floor than anything under Caribou. By splitting his output across two names, he's an artist who moves at two different tempos of time.
