CLUB JOULEは、大阪のアンダーグラウンドテクノを支える会場のひとつ。地下にあり、装飾よりもサウンドシステムの質を優先する。余計な演出を削ぎ落とした姿勢で、海外のテクノアクトと国内の主要なエレクトロニックアーティストの双方を定期的に迎えてきた。親密なつくりが生む密度の高いフロアが、関西のテクノシーンにおける定番となっている。
