METROは、90年代初頭から京都のアンダーグラウンドシーンを支えてきた。河原町近くの地下空間を改装した場所で営業する。コンクリートの親密な内装と丁寧に組まれたブッキングにより、ツアー中のアーティストにとって欠かせない一軒であり、関西のエレクトロニックミュージック文化の中心のひとつとなっている。
