Labyrinth

The Labyrinthは、Mindgamesが主催する日本を代表する野外レイヴ。会場は群馬・みなかみ、標高1,000mの森にある宝台樹キャンプ場。サイケデリックなテクノ、アンビエント、ディープハウスを軸に、ひとつのフロアで3日間の音を途切れなく組み上げていく。昼の光、夕暮れ、深夜、夜明け。時間の移ろいに合わせて音が変わり、3日間がひとつの物語として構成される。サウンドシステムはFunktion-One。チケットには3泊分のキャンプが含まれ、森に泊まり込んで過ごすことを前提に設計されている。

The Labyrinth is one of Japan's defining open-air raves, presented by Mindgames. It takes place at Hodaigi Campground, set in a forest at 1,000 metres above sea level in Minakami, Gunma. Built around psychedelic techno, ambient and deep house, the festival unfolds across a single floor, with three days of music assembled as one unbroken arc. Daylight, dusk, deep night, dawn: the sound shifts with the passing of time, and the three days are structured as a single narrative. Sound is handled by Funktion-One. Tickets include three nights of camping — the whole thing is designed on the premise that you stay in the forest for the duration.
