Dan Tyler and Conrad McDonnell work out of a North London studio as Idjut Boys. They started U-Star off the back of their club night of the same name, went on to run Noid and Droid too, and became known for dub-heavy, disco-sampling house. Their first album, Cellar Door, came out on Smalltown Supersound in 2012, and in 2025 they launched a new label, Bite The Day.
