LOA-LOST PARADISE-

ハワイ語で「永続的な」を意味するLOA。2026年のテーマは、波。同じ形で二度と訪れない波のように、この夏も一度きりしかない。舞台は茨城県鉾田市のnalu beach。かつて「大洋村」と呼ばれた地で、地元のサーファーたちに守られてきた隠れたビーチだ。コロナ禍で長く閉ざされていたこの場所が、再びダンスフロアとして目を覚ます。海の家はなく、目の前に広がるのは果てしない砂浜と太平洋だけ。全国から集まるアーティストたちとOtodashi Soundの音響が支える中、砂浜にはランドアートとバブルアートが立ち上がる。境界も線引きもなく、ジャンルも人種も性別も、すべてが海と音に溶けていく2日間のビーチパーティ。

LOA — Hawaiian for "everlasting." The theme for 2026 is waves. Like a wave that never breaks the same way twice, this summer will happen only once. The setting is nalu beach in Hokota, Ibaraki: a hidden stretch of sand in a place once known as Taiyo Village, kept safe over the years by local surfers. Long closed off through the pandemic, it's now waking up again as a dance floor. There's no beach house here — just endless sand and the Pacific stretching out in front of you. With artists gathering from across the country and Otodashi Sound handling the system, land art and bubble art will rise up from the sand. No borders, no dividing lines: two days of beach party where genre, race and gender all dissolve into the sea and the sound.
