A two-day beach party on a hidden stretch of shoreline in Hokota, Ibaraki, dancing straight through from start to finish.
Doors open at 14:00 on August 15, and the floor doesn't stop once until 18:00 the following day, August 16. At nalu beach — on the coast of Hokota, Ibaraki, once known as "Taiyo Village" — comes "LOA - LOST PARADISE -," a beach party where you dance facing the sea.

What is LOA
LOA is a Hawaiian word meaning "everlasting." The theme for 2026 is waves. Like a wave that never arrives in the same shape twice, it shifts its form as it rolls in and pulls back out.
There are no boundaries here, no dividing lines. Genre, race, gender — everything dissolves into the sea and the sound.
The banner reads "Sunset to Sunset." The floor rises with the first day's sunset, greets the sunrise on the sand, and comes down with the second sunset. This structure of time, carrying on straight through the night, is the very core of the LOA experience. Two midsummer days that become a new page in your life.

VENU
A hidden beach in Taiyo Village, watched over by surfers for generations.
Nalu beach, Hokota, Ibaraki
The coastline of Hokota, Ibaraki, a place once called "Taiyo Village." nalu beach is a hidden beach long loved and carefully protected by local surfers. Closed off for years during the pandemic, this spot wakes up again this summer as a dance floor.
There are no beach houses. All that stretches out before you is endless sand and the vast Pacific.
Hokota is said to sit on one of Japan's ley lines, and it's close to Kashima Jingu, one of the oldest shrines in the country. The floor rises in a place blessed by wind, sun, and sea.

MUSIC
Sound gathers on a sand floor from across the country.
GIZMO, MAMAZU, SAEKI TAKUYA, TAAAHHH. The crew who have built LOA together take their place on a floor at the water's edge. Holding down the sound is Otodashi Sound, a trusted name in Japan's outdoor scene.
Land art by Earthist creator's commune rises from the sand, while Onchi's bubble art drifts on the sea breeze. Sound and scenery overlap into a single landscape.
