TREKs

掲げるのは「Temporary Commune of Music, Art & Nature」。

TREKs is an open-air festival held at Daikokudani Campground in Kuta, Sakyo-ku, Kyoto. Its guiding banner reads "Temporary Commune of Music, Art & Nature." In a forest of cedar, cypress and native beech, threaded by a mountain stream, campers and hammock-dwellers, people gathered around the fire, children tearing about, and dancers who keep going until morning all share a single space while moving through time at their own pace. The music spans classics that have endured across eras and dance music unfolding in the present tense. Sensibilities honed around the world meet the cultures of Japan's various regions, right here in these woods.
