From October 16 to 18, INTERGALACTIC: PLANETFALL takes over Ooba Camp Village in Hinode, Tokyo. It's a Tokyo-born boutique festival that designs light, art, and space itself — alongside the music — as a single experience. Across two stages, the music flows from house into techno and on into psychedelic trance.

What is INTERGALACTIC?
A Tokyo-based boutique immersive art and music festival. Light, art, and the space itself are all designed as one experience, and each edition draws on the character of its location — combining custom light installations, lasers, digital art, live performance, and chill spaces to transform the entire site into a temporary other world.
Techno sits at the core, but the programming isn't confined to a single genre: breaks, psytrance, house, drum & bass, bass, and downtempo are all curated to suit the hour and the space. Dance, look at art, meet people, walk through the forest. How you spend your time is entirely up to you.

Another world, reachable by train from central Tokyo
The venue is Ooba Camp Village, set in the forest of Hinode, Tokyo. Tall trees surround a site dotted with wooden bungalows, open-air spaces, and footpaths leading deeper into the woods. It's close enough to reach by train from the city center, yet far enough to feel like stepping into another world entirely.
For PLANETFALL, two stages will be spread across the whole forest. Facilities including showers are on site, and food vendors will be present. Bungalow rentals are available, along with a limited number of campsites. If you'd rather get a proper rest, you can also stay in a nearby town and come by taxi.

Starting with funky house, ending in psychedelic trance
Across the two stages, the music is built as a single arc. It starts with funky house, then moves through tech house, breaks, and bass. IDM and drum & bass surface along the way, and as the night deepens it pushes into techno before finally landing in psychedelic trance.
DJs, producers, and live acts from Japan and abroad have been selected by the organizers as artists who "make music we genuinely love." Alongside DJ sets, numerous live acts will perform throughout the weekend. Follow the arc as it's been laid out, or move between the two stages and carve your own route.

The forest itself becomes the stage
Custom light installations, lasers, digital art, and stage design are woven into the forest, with artworks scattered throughout to be discovered as you wander. Each edition is designed around the character of its site — and this time, the forest of Ooba Camp Village itself becomes the stage. From afternoon into deep night and on to morning, the shifting light and art are part of a carefully designed sense of time in the woods.
Step away from the dancefloor and you'll find plenty of chill spaces to rest or talk with people. Time spent dancing, time spent walking among the art, time spent in the forest — all of it is part of the INTERGALACTIC experience.
