A 10th-anniversary celebration in a Yuen Long valley, dancing from noon until deep into the night
Launched in 2016 by Hong Kong agency FuFu Asia and Paris DJ collective Mamie's, Shi Fu Miz Festival reaches its milestone 10th year. From noon on November 14 until 4am the following morning — 16 hours, Day to Night. The setting is Tai Tong Organic EcoPark in Yuen Long, the new home the festival moved to just this past March.
What is Shi Fu Miz Festival?
A music and art project launched in 2016 by Hong Kong-based agency FuFu Asia and Paris DJ collective Mamie's. With the sensibilities of two cities — Hong Kong and Paris — intersecting, it has endured as a place to encounter eclectic music spanning rare groove and disco through house and techno.
For its 10th anniversary in 2026, the site moves to Tai Tong Organic EcoPark in Yuen Long, New Territories. The milestone day unfolds in a Day to Night format that runs from the afternoon until the small hours.
A green valley, just behind the skyscrapers
The venue is Yuen Long, in Hong Kong's New Territories. Ten minutes by car from the town centre, Tai Tong Organic EcoPark spreads across a quiet valley in Tai Tong Village. Far removed from the image of Hong Kong as a dense cluster of high-rises, the site covers more than a million square feet, surrounded by lychee forest. Since opening in 1994, it has been a local fixture — a weekend spot for families and a site for school environmental education.
Shi Fu Miz moved to this new home in March. It's a location that embodies, as it is, the duality of Hong Kong as a place where city and nature sit side by side. The 10th-anniversary milestone will be celebrated in this valley.
Four stages, each with its own character, rise in the valley
FENG SHUI
The main field, a grassland watched over by a Guan Yu statue standing more than ten metres tall. Cosmic disco and house, plus sounds from around the world.
VALLEY
An industrial valley hemmed in by shipping containers and forest. The heart of the night, where the all-night programme runs through until morning.
DRAGON
An intimate 250-capacity space beneath the head of a bronze dragon. From italo disco to Afro house, its expression shifts as the hours pass.
MEADOW
A pasture wrapped in greenery. Wellness, ambient, and an open-air cinema after dark. A crossroads of mind, nature and sound.
From Chicago, Berlin, NY and cities across Asia
Leading the bill is Chicago's Chez Damier — a pioneer who has walked through the history of house itself, via Prescription Records with Ron Trent and the Music Institute with Derrick May and others. From Berlin comes "the queen of acid" Dr. Rubinstein, while from New York the phantom 1990 deep house project Dream 2 Science is revived live. Melodies International, headed by Floating Points, also appears.
From across Asia, collectives from each city converge on the valley: Ice Cream Sundays from Singapore, UNKNWN from Manila, OIL from Shenzhen and Stereo.52 from Guangzhou. From Japan, alongside the Asia-spanning Taku Hirayama, DJ Maria. and Elli Arakawa represent the Tokyo scene.
