Osaka-based YAMA started DJing in 1994. After working at DMR Osaka, YAMA joined newtone records as a buyer when the shop opened, and around the turn of the millennium ran the party eep with EYE. The sets center on house but move through techno, breakbeats and jazz depending on the room. YAMA plays regularly at Precious Hall in Sapporo and has recently played fabric in London, Nyapi in Seoul and Wonderfruit in Thailand.
